Overview

This bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Shimazaki River between the left bank park and right bank park. The bridge features economic improvement by reduction in the weight of the superstructure due to the introduction of prestress and reduction of the girder height due to eccentric arrangement of the outside cable following the bending moment. In addition, this bridge possesses a finback form that covers the eccentric portion on the intermediate fulcrum with concrete, so that the bridge can also be considered a landmark of the park.
